Volunteers sharing the history of Marshall, Four Lakes, Cheney, Tyler, and Amber districts of southwest Spokane County since 1935.

History: Our collection includes a timeline, maps, images, archives, and school annuals, databases of businesses and places, as well as objects to help you learn about or research our local history.

Genealogy: We have images, documents, autograph books, high school and college annuals which may include your ancestor; our People Books have obituaries, newspaper clippings, & images. The museum also has archives of funeral home records and information on the residents of our cemeteries.

Tours: We are happy to work with your schedule for scouts, school, Red Hat, church, senior, daycare, family, or friends groups to visit the museum.

The Southwest Spokane County Historical Society which operates the museum is a registered 501(c)3 organization and a member of GuideStar. We are operated entirely by volunteers and through public donations.
