The Africana Studies Program cordially invites you to be a part of our Annual Silent Auction in an effort to raise money for our diverse programs. We will be hosting our annual Silent Auction on Thursday, February 27 from 11:00-4:00 PM in MONROE HALL 205. Monies collected from donations will help fund Student Scholarships, the Richard Williams Graduation Celebration, Lead to Succeed Mentorship Program, and other events.

The Africana Studies Program was established at Eastern Washington University in 1968. Since that time the Africana Studies Program has offered courses centered on the experience of people of African descent, as part of the General Education and Diversity curriculum, as well as to support the effort to help develop culturally competent students. Furthermore, Africana has assisted in the recruitment and retention of students of African descent by attending recruitment fairs, offering workshops, and other programs to help students transition and navigate the university environment.

If you would like to support the students in the Africana Studies Program, please consider donating the following items:

Art & books
Gift Baskets with your Business Paraphernalia
Gift Certificates or Gift Cards of all types
Tickets to local music, sports and entertainment events
Nights/weekends in a cabin/vacation home
Any other items suitable for a silent auction
